The 2003 recipients were the poet KIM Kwang-Kyu for his work The Time We First Met, novelist SONG Ki-Won for his recent book The Scent of a Human.

Being, and KIM Edeltrud and KIM Sun-Hi for their German translation of OH Jung-Hee's Vogel, A Bird which was published by Pendragon. No winners were announced in the Drama or Criticism categories.

The award-winning works will be translated into various languages and released by reputed publishers. The award ceremony was held on November 28 at he Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.
