본 사업은 해외에서의 한국문학 연구와 그와 관련된 제반활동에 대한 지원을 통하여 한국문 학연구의
활성화와 한국문화에 대한 이해제고를 목적으로 합니다.
The purpose of the program is to promote research in Korean
literature studies and to support related activities,
with a view to increasing the knowledge of Korean culture
overseas. |

접수된 지원신청서에 따라 본 재단의 심의위원회에서 심의, 선발합니다.
The applications will be screened by a screening committee. |

결과발표 Announcement of Results |
|

2009년 11월중 개별통보
The results of the committee's screenings will be announced
in November, 20078and communicated to the individuals
and institutes concerned. |
|
|
|
지원기간 Time Frame |
|
|
지원기간은 1년을 원칙으로 하나 1년 이상의 기간이 소요될 것으로 판단될 때에는 재단의 승인을 받아
연장가능합니다.
The normal time frame of a project is one year. but this
may be extended by prior agreement of the Foundation in
particular cases. |

|
|
지원금 지급 Awarding of Grants |
|
|
지원금은 심의위원회의 의견에 따라 일시 또는 분할지급합니다. 분할지급의 경우, 지원이 결정된 후
50%를 지급하며, 잔여분 50%는 결과보고서를 접수, 검토한 후 사업의 진행결과에 따라 지급시기를
조정하여 지급합니다. 지원금은 국내세법에 따라 세금을 공제하고 지급합니다.
Grants can be awarded, following the screening committees
recommendation, either in a lump sum or in two moieties.
In the latter case, one half of the total grant will be
awarded in advance and the remaining amount after receiving
and reviewing the final report. Applicable tax will be
deducted from the grant in accordance with the provisions
of Korean tax law. |

|
중간보고서 및 결과보고서 Interim and Final Report |
|
|
지원을 받은 사람은 지원금 수령일로부터 6개월 이내에 진행상황에 관한 중간보고서와 중간결과물(50%이상진행)을,
사업종료와 함께 결과 보고서를 제출하여야 합니다.
Grant recipients are required to submit an interim report on
the progress along with at least 50percent of the project, within
six months after receiving the first installment of the grant
and final reports upon completion of the project. |

|
연구결과물 Research Results |
|
|
본 재단은 연구결과 및 보고서를 한국문학의 세계화 및 한국문화 선양을 위한 간행물 발간 등에 이용할
수 있습니다.
The Foundation may utilize the project results through
publications etc. in order to promote the globalization
of Korean literature and to enhance the understanding
of Korean culture. |

|
결과보고서 미제출자에 대한 관리 Failure to submit final report on the project |
|
|
|
If the grant period, including any extension, is exceeded and
the final report on the project remains unsubmitted to the point
at which it is classified as long-term delinquent, then in accordance
with the Daesan Foundation policy the grant must be returned
to the Foundation, after which the applicant may not-submit
an application for the project of Korean literary works until
three years have passed. |

|
|
의무 Obligations |
|
|
지원받은 자는 다음 사항을 성실히 이행하여야
합니다.
Those who receive support will faithfully abide by the
following regulations. |
지원받은 자가 지원기간 중 사고, 질병 등의 신상변동 사항이 있어 정상적인 연구활동이 곤란한 경우
본 재단에 서면으로 보고하여야 합니다.
Those who for reasons of illness or accident are not able
to continue a project will notify the Foundation in writing. |
지원받은 자는 중도에 연구과제를 변경할 수 없습니다.
Projects may not be altered subsequent to support being
granted. |
연구는 기간 내에 완결하여야 함. 단, 사전협의에 의해 필요가 인정될 경우 1년에 한하여 연장가능합니다.
Projects should be completed within the time assigned.
But extensions are possible subject to prior agreement. |
연구결과를 출판하거나 기타 지면에 게재할 때에는 본 재단의 연구지원을 받았음을 표기하여야합니다.
All published research results, books or articles should
acknowledge the financial upport of the Foundation. |

제출한 서류는 반환하지 않습니다.
Application forms and materials submitted to the Foundation
will not be returned. |
지원이 확정된 후, 다음 각 호에 해당하는 사유가 발견되거나 발생하였을 경우에는 본 재단은 확정된
지원금의 지급을 취소, 중단하거나 이미 지급한 지원금의 전부 또는 일부를 반환하게 할 수 있습니다.
After being selected as a recipient of support from the
Foundation, disbursement of funds may be rescinded or
halted or recipients may be asked to return previously
disbursed funds in whole or in part for the following
reasons. |
a.
신청 또는 보고사항에 허위사실이 발견되었을 때
False declaration in the application submission.
b. 지원금을 목적 외에 사용하였을 때
Funds applied for purposes other than those stated in
the application submission.
c. 기타 부당하다고 인정되는 행위가 발견되었을 때
Other illegal acts. |
기타 필요한 사항은 재단이 정하는 바에 따릅니다.
The Foundation may make other stipulations as deemed necessary. |
